About Backs and Bones is an Osteopathic Clinic in Allestree, Derby – but we are also more than that! We, together with ‘Body Language’, form a complementary health clinic – which for you means more solutions to your pain, and a wide range of treatments to choose from.

We are unique in that we triage you carefully on your first visit – a legacy of our NHS training. This ensures you are being allocated to the most appropriate practitioner to meet your needs –saving you both time and money and enabling your problem to resolve more quickly.

Our medical experience in nursing, midwifery, McTimoney technique, physiotherapy, occupational and mental health, chiropody, podiatry and health screening ensures a high standard of care; far above that required by our professional regulators. It also means we can treat a wide variety of people – from babies, children, teenagers, adults, sports enthusiasts and elderly people.

We treat you not just your pain. This means looking holistically discovering the cause of your pain – not just treating the bit that hurts. Then we help you manage your pain at home; setting you exercises to reduce the amount of treatments that you will need. We aim to get you back to living the life that you want to lead, as soon as possible. Then we help you to stay there - comfortable and achieving you potential.
