JJA Burton is a small firm of accountants dealing with all the usual aspects of small, owner-managed business accounting but specialising in bookkeeping and payroll. Located in Burton on Trent High Street, we cater to the surrounding areas within an approximate 30 mile radius. We provide a personal but professional service specifically tailored for you at affordable prices.

Bookkeeping and VAT

We provide bookkeeping services, VAT returns online and management accounts - at your premises or ours, using your software or ours. We can do it all or just provide the finishing touches. You can have this tailored service weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually from £10 per month. We can write you bespoke bookkeeping spreadsheets and provide free basic cashbook software to help you keep your own records.

From April 2010, all businesses with an annual turnover of £100,000 will have to submit their returns online and pay their VAT electronically. For a fee of £25, we can provide a service which meets both criteria, even if we do not provide any other services to you.

Payroll

Weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly service providing professional payslips, reports and online filing from £5 per month. Fax or email your hours or gross pay and receive your payslips in the post the next day. You can have your reports emailed to you immediately and we can provide a BACS payment service to your bank.

CIS

We'll meet your deadlines for you. Online CIS returns, subcontractor certificates and detailed reports from £5 per month.

Tax Return Home Visits

Going one step further and providing home visits at no extra charge for clients who only require tax return preparation. We come to you to collect your paperwork and discuss your requirements over a cup of tea in your own home.
